A Blogging Journey & Introduction
For years, I have internally fought with myself about starting a blog. There are plenty of benefits to it, and one of the most valuable to me is being able to get some thoughts out of my brain as well as share my sense of style with people. With that said, there being plenty of pros to blogging, I always let the cons outweigh them. I didn't want to be tethered to my computer screen constantly checking for traffic and comparing myself to other blogs. Also, I wasn't fond of trying to build a fan base, since I have been on social media since 2010, and barely have 500 followers on Instagram.
So, what made me finally sit down and write a blog post? It's simple, I really can't stop thinking about doing something until I actually do it. Whether it works out or not, I am willing to give it a try. Officially, I would like to welcome you to my journey in blogging where will be candid, share my designs, and most of all show you my fashion sense.
If you have not already read my bio on the About page, or looked at the rest of my website, I would like to add that I am a graphic designer. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I took off for Los Angeles, the minute I graduated from high school to pursue a degree in graphic design at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. After graduation, I interned at DAILYLOOK and the Grove before moving back to the East Coast where I have now worked for rue21, Bluefly, and Estee Lauder. Now I am living, working, and thoroughly enjoying New York City. At every job that I have held so far I work extremely hard to exceed each companies needs. With that said, I want to have creative freedom to share my own taste starting with this blog. So I hope you enjoy.
